Tenants in the lower level voiced a concern over the safety of their electronic systems and other equipment. If one of the mechanical system should fail or leak what would stop the fluids from damaging the floors below.
The John W. Egan Company was hire to abrade the floors of the mechanical room and apply a 100% solid secondary containment membrane system.
Update within a year of this containment being installed a major water leak occurred in the mechanical room. The system worked flawlessly, No leaks below.
